High touch
There is much more touching in Bangladesh society than in Canada. Men of all ages and social strata are often seen holding hands while walking or chatting. Here, in a relaxed moment, one of our helpers throws an arm over the shoulders of his workmate.
My expenses, including economy airfare, hotel, meals, vaccinations, required documents, share of in-country travel, and tips totalled just under $CAD 4,000.
Vaccines required prior to departure
Typhoid (1 needle)
Twinrix for Hepatitis A & B (3 needles)
Tetanus/Diphtheria (1 needle)
Dukoral (2 oral doses)
Influenza
Pneumonia
